Who is responsible

What we collect

  • Email you send us: if you email [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you write. The website has no forms that collect what you type.

  • Server logs: your IP address, browser and the pages requested, kept to run and protect the site.

  • Cloudflare: every request to the site passes through Cloudflare, which sees your IP address and the pages requested in order to deliver and cache them and protect the site.

  • When you buy the course: Stripe collects your name, email address, billing country and card details on its own payment page. We receive your name, email address and the order details, never your full card number.

  • When you book a session: Calendly collects your name, email address, the time you choose and your answers to the five preparation questions, and shares them with Sky.

This site uses no analytics and sets no cookies of its own. Stripe’s payment page and Calendly set their own cookies to work.

Why we use it

We use your email to reply to you. We use your order details to deliver the course, email your links, arrange your sessions and keep the records the law requires. We use your preparation answers only to prepare for your sessions. We do not add you to any mailing list. We use server logs and Cloudflare to deliver, run and protect the site.

By emailing us, buying the course or booking a session, you agree that we may use your information for those purposes. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to [email protected].

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We use these service providers:

  • Cloudflare (United States): carries every request to the site and caches its pages.
  • Stripe (United States): takes card payments and holds the order record.
  • NamesPro (Canada): hosts the [email protected] mailbox that sends your course email.
  • Calendly (United States): books your two sessions and asks the preparation questions.

We share it with no one else except where the law requires.

Where it is stored

The website is hosted on a server in British Columbia, Canada. Requests pass through Cloudflare’s network, and payments and bookings go through Stripe and Calendly, so some personal information is processed in the United States or other countries and is then subject to their laws.

How long we keep it

Server logs are kept only as long as needed to run and protect the site. We keep emails only as long as we need them to answer you. Order and payment records are kept for 6 years, the minimum the Canada Revenue Agency requires.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, and you may withdraw consent. Write to [email protected]. We answer as soon as we can.

Concerns and complaints

Please contact us first. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (https://www.oipc.bc.ca). The law that applies is the British Columbia Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
